Welcome to The Inn at Saratoga

Located at 231 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, The Inn at Saratoga offers a historic setting with roots dating back to 1848. This vintage inn features elegantly furnished rooms filled with antique charm, including four-poster beds and period artwork. Some guests have noted certain characteristics typical of an older building, such as uneven floors and an older elevator, which contribute to its unique atmosphere but may present challenges for those with mobility issues.

The property functions not only as a hotel but also as a ballroom, banquet hall, and conference center, making it suitable for events alongside guests seeking a comfortable base. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a restaurant and bar on site, plus a complimentary breakfast buffet available for an additional charge. Free parking is provided, although some reviews mention parking can occasionally be difficult due to guest behavior.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. This place has an old school charm that you will rarely find. Lots of antique furniture, fancy carpeting and vintage artwork on the walls. And all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. My husband left his phone charger there by accident and we went back the next day and they had kept it and put it in a ziploc bag for him! The food was very good and the breakfast was mostly better than you get in most hotel breakfast buffets, though there is an extra charge for it. You should be aware that this is an older building and there are some things that are different from what you would find in one of the chain hotels -- many of these just add to the charm. The bed in our room was a 4-poster king-size bed and it was very comfortable. But it was much higher up than most beds. There was a 2-step stool provided which helped me get my 5-foot self into the bed, but if you are elderly, have vertigo or mobility issues, this could be a problem for you. I also noticed that the floor was very uneven underneath the nice carpet. This, again, might be a problem for anyone who is unsteady on their feet. I also think that the elevator might be older than I am, though it seemed to work fine. Our room had a mini-fridge, an iron and a full-size ironing board, and a blow dryer built into the wall above the sink. The bathroom was very modern, but our room had a shower stall, no bathtub. The room had 2 nice chairs, but no desk or table or counter. It was designed for comfort and aesthetic, not for business productivity. The TV had lots of channels, including several HBO channels. Much better than most hotels' limited selection. We were provided with a wifi password, but our room had full 5G cell coverage so we didn't use the wifi.

I just got back from a stay here and I can attest to the helpfulness of the staff, particularly at the front desk. The young woman that I saw most often was extremely helpful with a personal disaster. Actually, she didn't need to do too much but her empathy and her friendly face were just what I needed. Breakfasts were great. It's an additional fee, but well worth it. In my opinion, any other restaurant would have cost more for what I had. And the convenience of just coming downstairs to start the day off slowly was perfect for my my needs. This trip was all about slowing down to unwind. The inn's location is just a block or two from where the more heavily tourist area on Broadway begins, so I loved that. It was in a more quiet area but everything was a short walk away, including Congress Park which is one of the more notable parks and felt like a big neighborhood space. It wasn't as intimidating as the "state park" (which I need to explore next time) but it still had some springs, statues, historic sights and lots of water features. And it was free. There's more to explore in the town than Broadway, though and I hope to do so on a subsequent trip. Note: Broadway is a busy road. Going in the opposite direction from the tourist area, there are a few less ritzy eating options and a more residential district. A McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, and Chipotle were just a block away in that direction. My room was great. Full of antique charm. I specifically wanted to stay in a historic inn, so minor things like the slightly smaller bathroom area (for my particular room) didn't concern me as it made sense. The room itself was very spacious and my room happened to be painted my favorite color and featured a stunning chandelier. The TV had plenty of channels to choose from, including HBO and there was a nice seating area for two. The public spaces were comfortable and homey. Beautifully decorated with antiques. This is not a gleaming, sterile showplace. It's a lived in, comfortable dwelling full of charm. The hotel has fruit infused water as well as coffee available in the lobby throughout the day. And there's a pub on the premises. I ate dinner there while a live band played Irish music. The staff was attentive and the food was good.

We spent our wedding night here 20 years ago and decided to revisit on our anniversary. It did not disappoint! The rooms are lovely and filled with antiques. Our dinner (and breakfast) in the dining room was spectacular. The staff were all soooo accommodating and friendly. Everyone was smiling all the time. It's very walkable to the main section of Broadway, but it's quiet and relaxing. Hearing the church bells from next door reminded me of being in Europe. I think we're making this an anniversary tradition.

If U have problems to sleep like me good luck with it ). If I would stay in The Inn @ Saratoga , possibly yes.

If you want to experience a vintage Victorian hotel with antique furniture for a good price, that's the place to go. It is a walking distance from mainstreet if you want to do window shopping in the exclusive shops. The other Victorian hotel downtown, the Adelphi, is much more expensive. Even though the hotel is old, all the room have been renovated. Contrarily to another client who complained her room was small, ours was large. Despite its age, the hotel has an elevator to access the upper floors (easier with luggage). The premises has a nice outside court that we didn't go to because it was winter. We had dinner at the tavern animated with an Irish band (check schedule on the website) and a breakfast with homemade pastries (for only $10). There is a small free parking (because when the hotel was built, clients came on horse buggies!). There is no pool, again because in those years it was not the norm. And you check out with a small box of chocolates as souvenir.

The Inn at Saratoga is located minutes away from the main street. And you can walk to the restaurant. The hotel reminds the 18th century building with friendly staff. Rooms are quiet, clean, and spacious. The king bedroom highly recommends while you have a private living and dining area.

The location is nice and centrally located! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are definitely old- the mattresses are in need of being replaced as the box spring squeaked whenever I would roll over in the bed. The walls of the hotel are very thin.
